Chicken Masala

  1. 400 gms chicken
  2. 2 tbsp curd
  3. 2 tbsp tomato puree
  4. 1 tbsp fennel seed powder
  5. 1 tbsp sesame seed
  6. 1 tbsp ginger paste
  7. 1 tsp chicken curry masala
  8. 1 tsp garam masala
  9. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  10. 1 pinch hing
  11. 1 tbsp malai or fresh cream
  12. 3 tbsp refined oil
  13. 1 tbsp ghee
  14. 5-6 laung
  15. 4 green cardamom
  16. 1 small stick cinnamon
  17. 4-5 slit green chillies
  18. 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  19. To taste salt



    1. Steps

      1. Marinate chicken with curd,tomato puree and salt.Meanwhile make a paste of sesame seeds,fennel seedHeat oil and ghee in a pan.Add half crushed whole garam masala and when they splutter, add the masala paste and marinated chicken and fry till oil leaves sides.Add red chilli powder,chicken curry masala and salt to tastes, ginger paste and malai.Pour a cup of water and bring to boil.Cover and cook on low flame till chicken is done and masala coats chicken.Sprinkle garam masala and garnish with chopped coriander leaves and slit green chillies.
